It's been a WHILE, but it is so good to be back! Brandon Riley joins us (starts at 30:30) on the podcast, and we discuss his creative talents and how God is using them in Sugar Land, Texas. It was refreshing to hear Brandon's heart for youth, and also that he has such great support from his church to do many creative things for the church body and the youth at the same time. Be sure to click through the first six links in the show notes - all sites that Brandon is personally involved in or responsible for.
At the beginning of the podcast Gabe and Lee jump into a dialogue on some technologies that have been alive for a few decades, the new Snow Leopard operating system, and a variety of other tech topics!
Kary Oberbrunner joins Gabe this week (starts at 52:45) in the closing eternity segment, with a discussion many misconceptions that the church has regarding women. We're sure that your eyes will be opened to things that might not be given much thought without digging a little deeper. J.D. Elgin (interview starts at 26:00), with BibleTech Conference, joins us this week. It would be great to have some God's Mac listeners join us in Seattle on March 27th and 28th for the conference. Gabe is excited to be traveling to the west coast and speaking in one of the sessions. The conference is an excellent opportunity for those interested in utilizing technology with their faith and Bible study.
This week we also review Final Draft AV, an excellent product for creating scripts for video projects. We also share some tips on using TweetDeck to save a good amount of time in the Twitter social network.
Malcolm Lanham joins Gabe (starts at 42:12) for an intense discussion on the future of Christian conferences. Are some conferences bringing in the big secular names just for numbers and losing a focus on glorifying God? You won't want to miss their chat! Thanks for joining us!
